Joshua's bioI am an Associate Professor of English at East Central University (OK), specializing primarily in British literature from the Renaissance to early 19th century. I have a Ph.D. from Miami University as well as an MA/BA from the University of Tulsa. Most of my publications are related to literature (or teaching literature), and I’ve published articles and book chapters on many of my favourite books, including Robinson Crusoe, Joseph Andrews, the poetry of Alexander Pope, and Good-bye, Chunky Rice (a graphic novel). My novels draw from my interest in the English fantasy tradition, going back to Beowulf and the Icelandic sagas, as well as the satiric fantasy tradition of Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels. The Count of the Living Death is my first published novel. Categories |
