Good start for a Debut Novel I am Enjoying the series By Kat This review is from: Elven Jewel (Hunters of Reloria trilogy Book 1) (Kindle Edition) Book 2 was on special one time and I one-clicked it not realising it was the 2nd book - and it sat on my TBR for a while, until I got a Tour request for the final book, so I was happy to sign up for reviewing as I could read the whole series without waiting ( So Glad that I did as I have really enjoyed delving into this fantasy world of Kasper Beaumont's). |
My Grandson is 8 and I think he would enjoy this series in a year or two.
The story line is pretty much explained in the synopsis, and although I can say in writing this now after reading 2 of the books, you can see Kasper's writing style improve as you read book 2.
In book 1 Kasper has laid down the foundations and world building, the characters are developed, bonds are formed between former adversaries.
There are some plot lines that are predictable in that they follow most fantasy story lines, but Kasper has created a world that grows with the books and I am now on Book 3 and I can honestly say that I would recommend that you give all 3 books a go as you do get enthralled in the in the Hunters journey to gather troops to do battle to save Reloria from the invaders.
