I seriously couldn't fault it, the plot, action and effects were all top notch. Hiccup's flaming sword is pretty awesome and his dragon has a cool upgrade. The plot flies along nicely and adds some great depth to the first movie. I still can't figure out why Hiccup has an American accent, as opposed to the other thick accents, but it's easily overlooked. 5 stars from me, go and see it, cheers, Kasper.
Movie review: How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a great adventure for the whole family #fantasy #dragons6/9/2014
You've gotta love a sequel that outshines the first installment. The world of Vikings and dragons collides again when a group of baddies want to enslave young Hiccup's dragons. The story is based on the book by Cressida Cowell and is a rollicking adventure for the whole family. There's slapstick for the young ones ( a lot of 'slap-lick' really), plenty of action for the older kiddies, a nice dash of romance for the lovers, and heaps of crazy dragon flight for us die-hard fantasy fans.

Ash Dragon and Elven Princess Shari-Rose are in the swampy forests of Zanarah. The dragon is huge, of course, so the princess would only be about as high as his knee caps. The competition is to enter artwork to go in the Dragon's Revenge book as a header for each chapter. How will you depict them and enter the competition? The dragon reaches a towering height of 24 feet and its massive wingspan is 40 feet wide. It has many horns on its head and a line of spikes from head to tail. It is grey in colour and has piercing yellow eyes. Underneath the wings are scales of emerald gemstones. Shari-Rose is a headstrong and temperamental highborn elf. Her royal Princess title is courtesy of her status as the niece of the Elven Queen. She is just 21 years old, but is demanding and spoilt. Her long blonde hair has a touch of red, and her eyes are bright green. She wears a crystal rose at the base of her neck. The Princess is the most magical elf in Reloria and all the elves defer to her wishes; a fact that explains her haughty attitude. Her chief protector is Daeron, who has watched over her since she was a child. Picture: 'Shari-Rose' by Heccate Jerrett Beyond the Count Ed. Margo Bond Collins Long before Dracula, vampires stalked the literary scene. These early literary vampires are sometimes terrifying, at times melodramatic, and occasionally ridiculous, but they are always out for blood—and their vampiric descendants continue to fascinate and captivate us. Beyond the Count is a collection of vampire stories, plays, and poems from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. This collection gives students, scholars, and vampire aficionados the opportunity to examine works often long out of print and to contextualize the development of vampire legend beyond that most famous of literary Counts. About the Editor Margo Bond Collins holds a Ph.D. in eighteenth-century British literature and is a professor of English, and is also the author of a number of novels, including Taming the Country Star, Legally Undead, Waking Up Dead, and Fairy, Texas. After a decade of moving all around the country (Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta are a few of the places she's lived), she has settled in her native Texas. Margo lives near Fort Worth with her husband, her daughter, and several very spoiled cats, and she spends most of her free time daydreaming about heroes, monsters, cowboys, and villains.
