Norma Casa is an inspirational writer; a fact easy to gather when you read her lovingly descriptive works. 'Called to Ribbon Dance' is a story of a woman named Ari who finds her life in a big modern city to be missing something crucial and she embarks on a journey of self-discovery to find the meaning and purpose of her life. Her discoveries make her previous life seem colourless, as she uncovers a new understanding.
At some places in the story I felt a bit lost and out of context myself, but let me rest assure you that it is all brought together nicely in the end and makes for a satisfying and uplifting read.
There are a few minor issues which could do with a little polishing, but it doesn't detract from an interesting and thought-provoking read.
Called to Ribbon Dance is available from Amazon.com from $3.99
