Hey there happy campers, I have had a few requests to demystify the social media phenomenon of Twitter. Strap on your aviation goggles and away we go ... The goal of using Twitter is to convey a message in 140 characters or less. As there are millions of tweets created globally every minute, the onus is on you to make sure that your message is read by your target audience by using hashtags, pictures, links and creating engaging content. Refer to my post on Twitter hashtags here. |
Twitter: KasperBeaumont@KasperBeaumont;
Pinterest: Kasper Beaumont;
LinkedIn: Kasper Beaumont.
If a tweep has already used the name you desire, then try adding some extra numbers at the end, or creating a fun handle such as '@KasperDragon' which is part your name and part descriptive.
Remember that this handle will be attached to tweets and take up some of the 140 characters allowed, so a handle of 15 characters or less is advised.
Good luck with it, and happy tweeting.
